Lok Manch leader Amar Singh has asked the Union Minority Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid to take a call on Digvijaya Singh’s claims that the Batla House encounter was fake. Amar Singh said this while addressing a public meeting in Pilibhit’s Puranpur assembly constituency in poll-bound Uttar Pradesh.
“Salman Khurshid is my friend. I want to ask him whether he stands by P Chidambaram or his party general secretary Digvijaya Singh on Batla House issue,” said Amar Singh, Lok Manch leader.

Criticizing Pilibhit MP Varun Gandhi for his earlier comments against Muslims, Amar Singh said, “I am surprised that how can someone born in Nehru-Gandhi family use such a language.”
