Convicted in 2006 Mumbai hit-and-run case, 25-year-old Alistair Pereira surrenders before a sessions court in Mumbai, four days after the Supreme Court cancelled his bail for mowing down seven persons by his speeding car in 2006. Pereira was however sent back home as certified copy of the Supreme Court order cancelling his bail last week was not available.
Pereira has been asked by the police to be present after the copy is available with court.
