Amar Singh said this while addressing a public meeting in Pilibhit’s Puranpur assembly constituency in poll-bound Uttar Pradesh.

“Salman Khurshid is my friend. I want to ask him whether he stands by P Chidambaram or his party general secretary Digvijaya  Singh on Batla House issue,” said Amar Singh, Lok Manch leader.
Digvijaya Singh on many occasions called 2008 Batla House encounter fake in which some Azamgarh youths who were alleged to be members of terror outfit Indian Mujahiddin, were killed
Criticizing Pilibhit MP Varun Gandhi for his earlier comments against Muslims, Amar Singh said, “I am surprised that how can someone born in Nehru-Gandhi family use such a language.”
